PhDr. Ivana Rešková-Bednářová lives and works in Brno.
PhDr. Magdalena
Pintarová is a professor of English and lecturer of Czech for
foreigners in Jihlava. Both of them have rich experience in teaching
Czech as a second language on various types of courses, short and long
term in the Czech Republic and abroad. Ivana Rešková worked as a
senior lecturer and curriculum development specialist in the area of
Czech for foreigners in Prague, Poděbrady and Jihlava (The Charles
University Center for Language and Professional Training). She has
taught Czech for the Council on International Educational Exchange
(CIEE) for three years. She was employed as a language instructor for
the MBA Enterprise Corps programme at The University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill for July 1993.
Magdalena Pintarová was employed as a Czech language instructor in the
Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Literatures of The
Ohio State University in Columbus from January to June 1996, as part of
the Fulbright Exchange Programme. They also taught Czech in four U.S. Peace
Corps language programmes. They are the authors of two Czech language textbooks
Come and Learn Czech and
Communicative Czech (Elementary Czech). Ivana
Rešková is the author of a series of workbooks for use with the
Communicative Czech series.
